Ongoing professional development in Indigenous history, worldviews, and wellness frameworks, including workshops on intergenerational trauma and land-based healing.
Regular consultation to ensure my services remain culturally grounded.
Working with NIHB & MNO
We are an approved provider through:
Non-Insured Health Benefits (NIHB) for First Nations and Inuit clients
Métis Nation of Ontario (MNO) Mental Health & Addictions program
This means eligible clients can access therapy at no cost through these funding streams.
Approach to Healing
Our work integrates:
Trauma-informed and strengths-based therapy
Space for clients to include traditional practices, Elders, or community supports
Attention to how colonialism, identity, and belonging impact wellness
Respect for storytelling, ceremony, and land connections as vital parts of healing
Why Allyship Matters
Being an ally means listening deeply, acknowledging privilege, and centering Indigenous voices. We strive to create a space where clients feel safe bringing their whole selves, traditions, and truths into the counselling room.
